Collibra Developer
Main responsibilities:
As a Collibra Developer, you will support the roll-out of the Collibra platform components in accordance with the client's infrastructures & security policies. You will support the functional design of components and wireframing on user-facing screens.
You will develop, test and deliver Collibra data governance workflow and metadata integration components inline with the functional specifications.
Ideal profile:
General
- Fluent in English and French or/and Dutch
- Significant background and experience in programming
- Experience in consulting or service-oriented environments
- Proactive attitude & entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong presentation and communication skills towards (non)technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- A team player that is customer-success-oriented
- A problem-solver mindset, with a can-do attitude
Platform development
- A deep care for optimal and pleasant user experience
- Eagerness to automate and continuously improve development, testing and deployment activities
- Collaborating with other developers following defined git code branching & versioning standards
- Object-oriented programming skills
- BPMN, Groovy and/or Python (incl. Pandas) programming experience (combined is a strong plus!)
- Ability to assess and apply decoupling techniques where relevant to improve modularity and reusability of deliverables.
- Understanding the big picture, always considering how deliverables interplay and fit across capabilities
Data Governance
- Understanding of data strategy challenges
- Understanding of GDPR relation and impact on data management
- Affinity with use cases such as Business Glossary, Data Quality, Data Lineage or Reporting Governance
- Experience and certification in Collibra (or equivalent tooling) is a plus
Data Management
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with a variety of relational and non-relational database management systems
- Experience with Cloud Data Platforms such as GCP, AWS and/or Azure
- Experience in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts is a plus
